The following requirements must be met by applicants in order to be eligible for the Malaysia International Scholarship (MIS)
- Be at most 45 at the moment of application.
- Obtained a least of Second Class Upper (Honors) or a CGPA of 3.5/4.0 at the undergraduate level for Master’s degree applicants, and for Ph.D. candidates, they must have obtained a CGPA of 3.5/4.0 or a very excellent result at the Master’s degree level in a field of study that is related to their desired Ph.D. field.
- Completed one of the English Language Proficiency Tests listed below up to two years before the application date. The required minimum test scores and list of tests:
- Qualified by a Certified Doctor/Medical Professional and in good physical condition. The candidates are responsible for covering the cost of the medical checkup.
- Prepared a proposal pertinent to Malaysia’s requirements and interests (research-based program only).
